Overview

Live a full adventure day with the biggest zipline in Colombia with 330 mts of height and 1400 mts of length in two flights.

This tour will take you to one of the most beautiful regions at just 1.5 hours from the city of Medellin where you will experience a landscape surrounded by huge mountains and waterfalls. Let's hike to the base of a giant waterfall with 100 mts of height and enjoy delicious traditional food, drinks and the joy of this unique place.

Itinerary

Day 1

WARNING:  participants' weight must be under 99kgs or 218 lbs to do this activity and to have strong fitness level. Children will be accompanied with a professional guide.

9:00 am: pick you up by private car at your hotel or specified address and drive 1.5 hours until natural reserve in La Ceja.
11:30 am: arrival to the natural reserve where we will give you an introduction of the place, safety instructions and we will guide you to the first zipline station by hiking 20 minutes in a class 2 of 5 path.
12:00 am: start the first 700mts flight to the other side of the canyon, enjoy a stunnnig view of 5 giant waterfalls. 
12:30 am: once into the other side of mountain, let´s take a 30 minutes class 3.5 of 5 hiking to the base of the giant waterfall.
1:00 am: let´s feel the powerful splash of the giant waterfall and receive a full explanation about Lenard effect, this will recharge your spirit.
1:45 pm: return to the top of mountain. 2:30 pm: tine for lunch (NO INCLUDED) and after that, enjoy free time to relax and enjoy this paradise
4:00 pm: a second zipline flight will take you to the other side of canyon and start a 30 minutes hike to the entrance of the place 5:00 pm: start the return to your hotel
6:45 pm: arrival to your hotel

    From the start this was an incredible daytrip. Our guide Esteban was awesome, he was so friendly & helpful. The 90min drive was very scenic & the little resort where we stop for lunch had the most beautiful Mountain View. There was a pool we had a swim in & it was a very relaxed tasty lunch & time for a nap in the hammock. Then it’s action time, walk to Zipline & away we go across, such a thrilling experience. Then a 40min hike to the most gorgeous waterfall, where you will get very wet(take a change of clothes). The hike is quite steep, with lots of up & down, so make sure you are up for that! Then it’s the Zipline back & another hike up the hill to the resort where the car is parked. Tired but very happy, for the trip back to Medellin. I recommend this trip to anyone that wants a little adventure outside, amongst the very lovely Colombian countryside.

    Wow, what a day to remember! Julian is a perfect host, always gracious, cheerful, patient, and attentive. The waterfall hike and the Zipline are equal wonders— wonders of a life time. This was my first ecotourism experience, and I think it’ll be hard to beat. Transportation went smoothly. The mountain top cafe was so beautiful, I felt more relaxed than I have in ages. The hike was challenging but gorgeous, unique, and invigorating. The water fall was possibly the most powerful, huge one I’ve ever seen. The Zipline was definitely very high and extraordinarily scenic, too! Like so many other reviewers I have to say… totally worth it, book this one. This was plenty of fun as a solo traveler. I was with a group of adult friends (two of whom celebrating their wedding anniversary)— and they looked like they all had a great time, too

    I went with Ecoventure on an amazing, privat day tour, that gave me much more than I had expected! I was quite late out booking the tour, but Ecoventure were really cool and spontaneous about it. I was picked up at my Hostel and then the beautiful drive in the mountains began, which took us through a small, charming City and through the lush green of the Andes. We arrive at Los Saltos which is a beautiful Eco park "in the middle of nowhere". There's no tourists, only us and locals. We walk down the mountain towards Colombias biggest zipline,! With 330 meters down it was quit a rush, but also an amazing experience, when you fly between mountains! On the other side, we walk down to the Grand finale: a huge, beautiful waterfall, that takes your breath away. You walk really close to it, so you can really feel it's power! On our way back, on the mountaintop, we get a local cop of coffee at a bar there, with panorama view over the waterfall, mountains and Colombia jaw dropping nature. All in all, it was an amazing day with a very nice and professional guide who I enjoyed being in company with! I'll highly recommend Ecoventure to everyone who wants to experience some of the breathtaking nature surrounding Medellín - away from the tourist spots - And who has a little Indiana Jones inside of them. :)
